In Muhanga District 2,554 TIG members helped in constructing houses for vulnerable
people and making radical terraces that would help in increasing the agricultural production.
23 ha of terraces were made in Nyarusange Sector by the TIGst.
The TIG members also helped in the construction of Rugendabali-Kibangu road that would
ease the transportation of goods and services.
The district put a program to train mediators and the training was conducted successfully. T
his will help in settling simple grudges with the local communities.The process of Gacaca
jurisdictions is still contnuing however, most of them cases have been settled especially
in the first and second categories.
