The concept "AGASOZI NDATWA" as is popularly called in Kinyarwanda, is based on a theory
that each district of Rwanda shall have a Model Community in that district that must have all the
features that make human livelihood meaningful. The Model community, must have all the
necessities of life, water, electricity, best health services, recreation services, educational services,
best agricultural practices etc.
In our District Agasozi Ndatwa is Muhanga Community. This community has acted as a model
to district residents who travel from the four corners of the district to come and see how best
they can improve communities around them.
